LUIZ SUAREZ (Ajax to Liverpool)
After scoring 81 goals in 110 games for Ajax, Luiz Suarez signed a five-and-a-half-year deal with Liverpool on 31 January 2011.
Suarez’s £22.8 million transfer made him Liverpool’s most expensive signing until the arrival of Andy Carroll for £35 million a few hours later.
Three years at Liverpool saw Suarez make 110 appearances, scoring 69 goals.
And his only achievement with Liverpool was winning the 2012 League Cup, beating Cardiff City on penalties.
FERNANDO TORRES (Liverpool to Chelsea)
Fernando Torres left boyhood club Atletico Madrid for Liverpool in the summer of 2007 where he spent four years.
He eventually left Liverpool for Chelsea on 31 January 2011 for an undisclosed fee reported to be £50 million, which set a new record for a British transfer and made him the sixth most expensive footballer in history.
He won the FA Cup (2012), UEFA Champions League (2012) and Europa Cup (2013) in his four years at Chelsea.

Due to his lack of playing time at Inter Milan, Nwankwo Kanu was snapped up by Arsenal In February 1999 for £4.15 million.
He went on to spend five years at Arsenal where he scored 37 goals in 119 appearances.
While at Arsenal, Kanu won two Premier League titles (2002, 2004), two FA Cups (2002, 2003) and the FA Community Shield (1999).
In 2004, Kanu left Arsenal for West Brom where he spent two years.
PATRICE EVRA (FC Porto to Man United)
During his time at AS Monaco, Patrice Evra was in the French side that got to the final of the 2004 UEFA Champions League final where they lost 3-0 to FC Porto.
On 6 January 2006, former Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson confirmed a deal for Evra was reached. Four days later, the transfer was official as Evra joined the club for a transfer fee of around £5.5 million and signed a three-and-a-half-year contract.
Evra enjoyed his best club career at United as he won five Premier League titles, Three League Cups, five FA Community Shields, one UEFA Champions League and one FIFA Club World Cup.

NEMANJA VIDIC (Spartak Moscow to Man United)
Following a two-year spell at Spartak Moscow, Nemanja Vidic signed for Manchester United for a fee of around £7 million on 25 December 2005 and joined the club on 5 January 2006.
Vidic had a memorable eight years with United as he won five Premier League titles, three League Cups, one UEFA Champions League, one FIFA Club World Cup and five FA Community Shields.
