Nigerian striker Aaron Samuel scored his first league goal of the season for CSKA Moscow who beat Tosno 2-1 away in the Russian top flight on Wednesday.
The game was Samuel's third league appearance for CSKA Moscow so far this season.
Samuel and Alan Dzagoev were the scorers for CSKA Moscow while Anton Zabolotny got Tosno's goal.
Samuel opened the scoring for CSKA Moscow in the 49th minute.
Tosno equalised in the 56th minute thanks to Zabolotny.
But in the 62nd minute, Dzagoev scored what proved to be the winner for CSKA.
The win took CSKA to fifth on nine points in the 16-team league table.
