Super Eagles defender Shehu Abdullahi took part in his first training session with Turkish club Bursaspor on Wednesday following his transfer from Cypriot club Anorthosis Famagusta and is in line to make his debut against Alanyaspor on Saturday, reports Completesportsnigeria.com (CSN).
Bursaspor, who already have Nigerian duo William Troost-Ekong and Mikel Agu in their ranks, announced Abdullahi’s arrival via their official Twitter handle on Tuesday.
The versatile right-back who can also play as a defensive midfielder signed a two-and-a-half-year contract with Bursaspor after ending his two-year stay with Cypriot club Anorthosis Famagusta.
Abdullahi took part in the training session which lasted for one hour 40 minutes under the supervision of head coach Paul Le Guen.
The Nigeria defender is set to make his debut for Bursaspor, who are ninth in the Turkish Super Lig table, when they face 13th placed Alanyaspor in an away league fixture at the Bahcesehir Okullari Stadium on Saturday.
