By Adeboye Amosu:
Abia Warriors captain Austine Obaroakpo has returned to training ahead of their Nigeria Professional Football League match-day six fixture against Gombe United on Sunday, reports Completesportsnigeria.com.
The centre-back has missed the Umuahia-based club's last three games against Remo Stars, Enyimba and Plateau United due to a toe injury.
He is however set to make a return to the squad for Sunday's game against the Savanah Scorpions after training with his team-mates on Friday.
"It's good to be back in training once again after missing our last three games in the NPFL," Obaroakpo told Completesportsnigeria.com.
"I'm fully fit and ready to play against Gombe United but it is the coach (Okey Emordi) that will decide that."
In Obaroakpo's absence, Abia Warriors have picked just one point from their last three games.
