African Footballers And Their Love For Automobiles

Emmanuel Adebayor:

Sheyi Emmanuel Adebayor is a Togolese professional footballer who plies his trade in the Turkish league as a striker for İstanbul Başakşehir.

He has spent most of his playing career in the English Premier League (EPL) playing for Arsenal, Manchester City, Tottenham Hotspur and Crystal Palace. Before his move to the EPL he played in the French League 1 for Metz and AS Monaco and a short stint at Spanish giants Real Madrid in 2011.

He won the coveted CAF African Footballer of the Year award in 2008 while playing for Arsenal.

He is currently worth over 30 million dollars, when a car freak is worth this kind of money, he has the proclivity to go a bit overboard with the automobiles and he makes a bold statement by imprinting his initials “SEA” on every plate – which stands for Sheyi Emmanuel Adebayor.

He was born in a city called Lome in Togo on the 26th of February 1984 (age: 33years) and these are the clubs Adebayor has played with so far :

This is one of the most expensive cars in Africa presently, it was specially customized for him and it is worth a staggering three hundred and sixty thousand pounds(£360,000), which is nothing less than 162 million naira.

When you have a collection of beautiful automobiles you could attract any crowd. Wizkid had to come and see for himself

Typical black man. We like acquiring liabilities instead of investing in assets. Little wonder these African footballers easily go broke once their football carrier is over. And by the way, was that a car garage or a commercial motor park?

He’s only using Togo as a front. He is an original Naija boy. Showmanship is our way of life. Hope all the cars will give him the interior peace he has long desired but which has hardly come.
