–Ex-U-23 Eagles keeper insists Afonja Warriors can sustain tempo
Former Granada of Spain goalkeeper, Dele Ajiboye is aiming for big things with modest Kwara United in the Nigeria Premier League.
Ajiboye spent two seasons with 3SC of Ibadan on return from Spain before a move to Nasarawa United and has just completed a loan move to the newly promoted Kwara United.
The former Dream Team V goalkeeper says he wants to help Kwara United do well in the season.
“I feel like coming closer home and helping the team achieve better fortunes in the league and I hope we actualise this dream”, offers Ajiboye on Tuesday.
“I had a nice season at Nasarawa United but had to accept Kwara United offer because being my state team, I want be part of its success story.
“Yes, I could have signed for Sunshine Stars but they said because I did not come when they wanted me so I had to move.
“For now I’m happy here at Kwara United and we have started the season well so it’s my expectation that we sustain the tempo.
“Of course, starting well has to do with the sound management we have, the quality of players available and the wonderful technical crew in the club”, Ajiboye said.
