Former Home- based Super Eagles captain, Chima Akas has denied reports he is set to leave Enyimba for a move to Turkey, reports
The seven-time Nigeria Professional Football League champions have been hit with a mass exodus as several of their top stars have moved elsewhere.
The duo of goalkeeper Olufemi Thomas and Razak Aliyu have linked up with Kano Pillars, while skipper of the side, Chinedu Udoji is also negotiating a move to the Pyramid City side.
The duo of Ike Thankgod and young goalie, Joshua Enaholo are also close to joining FC IfeanyiUbah and Abia Warriors respectively.
But Akas, a left-back, who joined the People's Elephant from Sharks at the start of last season, said he was keen to remain with the Aba side.
"I don't have contact with any club in Turkey and I don't know where that story emanated from," the former Shooting Stars defender told Completesportsnigeria.com.
''I'm still with Enyimba and I don't have the intention of leaving even though we are still talking about one or two things."
