Alampasu Clocks 18 Today; Set For Pro Deal

–Flying Eagles star vows to give his best at AYC

Former National U-17 goalkeeper Dele Alampasu will clock 18 today and the junior international is ready for a professional deal, Complete Sports can report.

Alampasu who has been invited for the 2015 African Youth Championship told Complete Sports yesterday in Lagos that he has been with an Academy abroad since he helped Nigeria to win the FIFA U-17 World Cup and now ready to sign a professional contract.

“I am happy that tomorrow( today Wednesday) is my birthday and I will clock 18 as well so it is a great joy for me because I am now qualified to sign a professional contract with any club of my choice,” says the Flying Eagles goalkeeper.

Speaking on the 2015 African Youth Championship, the former Golden Eaglets goalkeeper said he is confident that Nigeria will not have problem playing Senegal, Congo and Cote d Ivoire in the first round of the tournament.

“Well, I don’t think we are going to have any problem playing Senegal, Congo and Cote d Ivoire but one thing I will tell you is that we are not going to underrate any of them, we will go there with the aim of winning all our matches so that we can make it to the next round of the tournament.

The 2015 African Youth Championship will be held in Senegal and Alampasu is confident that Nigeria will win the tournament.

    Thanks for making nigeria the only country that have won the u-17 world cup four times.Nigeria surpassed brazil and others in this category.
