Algerian defender, Hicham Belkaroui has admitted that beating Nigeria's Super Eagles on their home ground will be a herculean task to achieve, reports Completesportsnigeria.
Belkaroui, a Esperance of Tunisia star makes a return to the Algerian national team setup after missing the 1-1 home draw with Cameroon last month due to injury however promised to give his best if handed a starting role.
He tells Dzfoot.com: "I hope to give more to the team. It will be a very difficult game in Nigeria."
Dzfoot.com also reports that coach George Leekens will adopt a 4-2-3-1 formation when his side take on Nigeria in Uyo. According to the Algerian website, Leekens will line Carl Medjani and Belkaroui in the heart of the Algerian defence with Aissa Mandi and Mehdi Zeffane playing as full backs.
Saphir Taider will partner in-form Nabil Bentaleb in midfield while the trio of Riyad Mahrez, Sofiane Feghouli and Yacine Brahimi will support Islam Slimani who will play as a lone striker.
