Kano Pillars defender Jamiu Alimi has pleaded with the team's fans to be patient with their embattled coach Mohammed Babaganaru, promising the club will bounce back to winning ways, Completesportsnigeria.com reports.
Pillars have managed only one win in their last five NPFL games, but the 24 year old former Shooting Stars defender says the four-time Nigerian champions are ready to claim all three points in Bauchi against league leaders Wikki Tourists today.
"Hello great fans. Few weeks hasn't been smooth. Football brings such ugly moment, we need your support to bounce back,” Alimi tweeted on his Twitter handle.
"Babaganaru is the best manager I have worked with, a great manager with mindset of winning every game. He has heart of a champion.
"Honestly, coach Babaganaru deserve the fans support in these tough days. We apologize. Your support is important and key. Thanks for the support, love and care. Pillars fans are the best.
"We have resolved to win, we'll put up all our blood. It will be tough, believe me victory is sure," Alimi vowed.
