Festus Allen has left his post as Technical Director of Nationwide League side, Juvenile Football Club.
Allen who has been on suspension due to alleged anti- club activities and non impressive showing of the Ota based outfit until now, resigned from the post after a brief meeting with the Club’s President’s Honourable Ayo Alabi at the Club Secretariat.
”I had a meeting with him at the club secretariat last weekend to thrash out some issues concerning allegation made against him and the performance of the game before he was suspened,”Alabi informed completesports.
“At the end, he[coach Allen] decided to tender his resignation letter which I duly accepted”.
“We both accepted that it is time for both parties to severe ties and move on with our different endeavours” insisted Honourable Alabi.
”We have therefore paid him his salary for the month of April,the period when he was under suspension,”he declared.
Alabi insisted that Allen’s erstwhile number two, Bassey Inyang, will remain in charge of the team while expressing confidence the light complexioned gaffer will steer the club to promotion at the end of the campaign.
”For now, Coach Bassey Inyang will continue to act as the Technical Director of the side.
”We are happy with what he has done so far and strongly believe the club will move forward under his tutelage.
