Spanish Segunda side Almería have drafted Ramon Azeez back to the 1st team six months after playing for the B team, the official Twitter handle of the club has reported.
Azeez had his first training session on Tuesday after completing his registration to feature for the club in the Liga Adelante, according to a statement on the club's official website.
"The fans of the @U_D_Almeria celebrates the return of Ramón Azeez to the first team," the statement read.
The 24 year old midfielder who was voted the young player of the year at the club in 2014 is in the final 18 months of his contract at the club.
Azeez is expected to feature alongside Nigerian forward Kalu Uche . Almeria's legend Alberto Benito believes the duo could flourish together in midfield.
Uche is in his second spell at the club having featured for the Rojiblancos from 2005 to 2011.
"I believe Kalu Uche and Ramón Azeez can remedy the situation in midfield,"
"With them in the team we have a double pivot with Ramon Azeez playing in the creative role," Benito was quoted on Almeria's Twitter handle.
Almeria are currently placed 20th on the log with 18 points from 22 games.
