Nigerian forward Sone Aluko says relegation threatened Rotherham United could hamper Fulham's chance of making the Championship play-offs.
Fulham will continue their pursuit of a play-off spot on Saturday when they play away to Rotherham who are bottom of the 24-team Championship table.
Fulham are seventh in the league table on 61 points, one point off sixth place Sheffield Wednesday who occupy the last play-off position.
A defeat for Rotherham will confirm their relegation to League one.
"Even though they’re bottom it’s still a tough game and they’ll give a good account of themselves, they did when they came to Craven Cottage," Aluko told Fulham's official website.
"Even when they are relegated or if they were relegated already, it doesn't make a difference to players because there's always something to play for, whether it will be a new contract or you need to impress some one.
"Every time you play there is someone watching there's someone judging you so it will be a tough game, every point is is competitive.
"Most Championship teams, actually all of them, have been tough this season and we played them earlier on this season they gave a good account of themselves.
"They’ve had a tough season and are bottom of the league but it doesn't make it any easier.
"We’re still confident and still expect to go and play our usual way of playing and turn the last couple of results around.
"Every point you get in this league you have to earn so if we want to win we need to be professional and have to work hard and play well and be clinical and keep a clean sheet.
