By James Agberebi: Nigerian forward, Sone Aluko’s performance for Reading FC in the first half of the English Championship season has been rated okay by an appraisal conducted by a British online news channel, Completesportsnigeria.com reports
The ratings was done by getreading.co.uk, in its assessment of Reading FC players’ performance in the first five months of the current campaign. Each player was rated out of 10.
According to the website, Aluko was rated six for his performance for Jaap Stam side.
And commenting on Aluko’s input for the club, the website remarkes: “frustrating figure as he clearly has bags of talent but lacks an end product. Very skilful in working his way out of tight situations and likes to get on the ball.
“Four assists and two goals is satisfactory, but is an area he will be desperate to improve upon in the coming months.”
Aluko who joined Reading from fellow English Championship club Fulham, has made 18 appearances in all competitions this season, scoring two goal.
He is expected to be in action for Reading when they visit Manchester United Carabao Cup conqerors, Bristol City, in a Championship clash on Tuesday.
