Super Eagles midfielder, Sone Aluko admits his Premiership side, Hull City may have taken their eye off the ball this season.
The Tigers have struggled to get themselves away from the relegation zone.
‘’ It’s a tough league and we’re not a surprise package any more, the Nigerian forward told the Hull Daily Mal.
‘’Teams come knowing that we’ll give them a good game, unlike last year when people thought we were just going to go down and get relegated.
‘’ They sometimes thought all they had to do was turn up against Hull.
‘’ Now, the season we had last year, with the FA Cup final, we’re a well-respected team so that might have changed things.
Aluko was a 56th minute substitute for David Meyler in their 2-0 home loss to Newcastle United on Saturday.
