Nigeria international, Sone Aluko, says that Fulham's target in Saturday's game away to Wigan Athletics in the Sky Bet Championship is the three available points.
Fulham's last away win was at Ewood Park where they piped Blackburn Rovers 1-0.
The Cottagers currently occupy 6th position on 12 points in the league table after seven rounds of matches.
Commenting on the game against Wigan, Aluko states that the urge to attack by the home team will suite his side despite playing away from home.
“It’ll be an interesting game,” Aluko tells fulhamfc.com.
“I’m not sure we’ll face the same problems in away matches (having to break defensive teams at Craven Cottage).
“I think the home team will come out a little more and play, whereas teams here (Craven Cottage) are more comfortable sitting in because they are the away side.
“Hopefully, we can find a solution to beat Wigan and break them down. We’ll be back training hard and fighting for the win.”
Reflecting on their 1-1 home draw against Burton Albion on Tuesday, the former Hull winger posited that Fulham deserved to win the game.
“We were still disappointed to be honest as I think we deserved the win having dominated the game.
“Up until the 18-yard box we were close to perfect, we were just missing that final touch. But we showed a bit of character and came away with a goal at the end to get a point.
“We need to start scoring first in games because it forces the other team to come out. If we’d done that against Burton we would have blown them away as I felt we were that dominant.
“So it’s disappointing that a goal didn’t come sooner, but it’s going to click soon. We’re getting there, dominating games, so that’s a positive.”
