Amkar Perm head coach Vadim Yumsev has heaped plaudits on Nigerian forward Aaron Samuel after his brace helped the club secure a 2-1 win against Lokomotiv Moscow in a Russian Premier League game on Saturday, reports Completesportsnigeria.com.
Samuel, who is on loan with Amkar Perm from another Russian club CSKA Moscow, scored his side’s equalising goal from the spot in the 48th minute following Manuel Fernandes’ 17th minute opener for Lokomotiv Moscow.
He scored the winning goal in the 59th minute to help Amkar Perm record their first win in three league games.
“There is no secret about Olanare (Aaron Samuel) performance,” Yumsev told reporters after the game.
“He on loan with us. I talked with Victar Goncharenko (CSKA Moscow coach), he told me everything in detail about his quality
“Olanare really adds a lot to our team. I have confidence in him, as with all players, and he needs it.”
The former China-based striker has now scored two goals in three League games for Amkar Perm.
Nigerian duo, Bryan Idowu and Fegor Ogude, were also in action for Amkar Perm in the game.
