Amuneke Warns Super Eagles: Watch Out For Cameroon’s Dirty Tricks!

By David Meshioye:

Former Super Eagles winger Emmanuel Amuneke has described Cameroon’s Indomitable Lions as a side armed with lots of football tricks aimed at neutralizing their opponents, Completesportsnigeria.com reports.
Amuneke, who starred for the Super Eagles in the 1990s and coached Nigeria’s U-17s to the FIFA U-17 World Cup title in 2015, warned the Super Eagles to guard against excesses of the Camerounians in the forthcoming double header Russia 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifiers billed for Uyo and Yaounde in September.
“We have to be very careful with those Cameroonians because they have all the needed tricks to outwit their opponents especially in qualifiers like these,” Amuneke told Completesportsnigeria.com from Spain.
“I have played against them and my experience with the Camerounians is no child’s play
“It is important Super Eagles are prepared for all their tricks when they come to Uyo. We don’t have to kill ourselves to beat Cameroun if we can put in the right preparations and not think as though a game has been won or lost before it is played.”
FIFA has confirmed the match at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, which was earlier moved to August 31 for television purposes, has been moved back to the initial date of September 1.
The return leg has also been moved from September 5 to September 4 in Yaounde.
The new dates have been communicated to both football federations by FIFA.
The Super Eagles are on top of Group B‎ with six points, four points more than second-placed Cameroon.
