Amuneke: Warring Factions Should Cease Fire For The Sake Of Nigerian Football

By Johnny Edward:

Former Super Eagles winger, Emmanuel Amuneke, has advised Amaju Pinnick and Chris Giwa factions to reach a truce and end the imbroglio currently rocking the the Nigeria Football Federation for the sake of the sport in the county.

A Jos court on Tuesday failed to deliver judgement on the case between Amaju Pinnick and Chris Giwa over who is the legimately elected president of the Nigeria Football Federation, a feud that has been unresolved for the past four years.

The case has been adjourned till September 25.

“We dont know why this issue is still persisting,” Amuneke told CSN.

“We have to put square pegs in square holes to move our football forward. It’s not easy going back and forth on court cases.

“This is unfair because its when we have little success we have this problem. I just hope we can change that and appease those aggrieved.”

The Nigeria Football Federation is now hoping to avoid a FIFA ban as it will stop Nigeria from playing their Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Seychelles in September, while the Super Falcons, Falconets, other national teams and Enyimba, who are in the CAF Confederation Cup, would also be affected.

Amaju pinnick is doing well.for me I prefer him than any other so called distractor.whenever we enjoy a little success some group will raise their ugly head.problem is that most of these people have nothing to offer.you have lost elections and FIFA has ban you on FIFA related activities.I wonder what you are still fighting for.

Idiot giwa and his fellow evil men should leave our pinnick alone oo or else

  • This is a constitutional issue,
Another guffing by the Buhari government.

The only way out is to, ignore the court temporarily, hold fire till the next election.
Pinnik is trying and rising in CAF and FIFA.
