Super Eagles defender Stanley Amuzie joined up with his Sampdoria teammates on Tuesday after successfully undergoing medicals at the Albaro clinic and Villa Montallegro on Monday, Completesportsnigeria.com reports.
The Nigerian, who joined the Serie A club on a free transfer after featuring for Portuguese second division side Olhanense last season, was given a clean bill of health by Dr Amedeo Baldari and Professor Guglielmo Mazzola who took charge of the screening.
Amuzie who was a member of the Olympic Eagles bronze medal-winning squad at Rio 2016 signed a four-year deal with the Italian side.
He is expected to be listed in coach Marco Giampaolo's squad to face Roma at the Stadio Olimpico on Saturday.
The defender previously featured for Parma in the Italian Primavera from 2012 to 2015 before he signed a pre-contract agreement with Sampdoria.
The Flying Sports Academy product has two senior international caps to his name.
