By Adeboye Amosu: The Argentina Football Association has named the venues of the Albiceleste’s next two friendly games against Italy and Spain billed for March, reports Completesportsnigeria. com (CSN).
The two-time World Cup champions, according to a report on the AFA official website, will take on Italy in a friendly game at the Eithad Stadium, home of English Premier League club, Manchester City on Friday, March 23rd.
Kick-off time for the high profile friendly game is expected to be announced later.
Four days later, the Argentines will face former world champions Spain at Atletico Madrid’s Wanda Metropolitan Stadium.
It will be the first international match to be staged at the 68,000 capacity stadium which was opened on September 16, 2017.
The South Americans will use both games to prepare for the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia.
Argentina will face Nigeria, Croatia and Iceland in the Group D of 2018 World Cup.
