An Argentine footballer killed a referee after being sent off in a match.
According to thesun.uk, the horrific incident happened in the Córdoba district of Argentina on Monday.
Referee Cesar Flores, 48, was shot in the head, chest and neck for showing a red card to the attacker who floored an opponent.
Also shot was 25-year-old footballer Walter Zarate, who was hit in the chest but survived.
The attacker, who is still at large, is being hunted by the police.
It was gathered that the attacker had a gun in his backpack and ran on to the pitch as the game was continuing.
A police spokesman said: “We don’t know what happened with the referee but the player was angry and went to get his gun and killed him.”
