Arsenal, Tottenham Monitor Emenike

By Izuchukwu Okosi:

Super Eagles and Fenerbahce striker Emmanuel Emenike will consider a January transfer after falling out with manager Ismail Kartal according to Skorer.

Emenike has not started in the Yellow Canaries’ last two games but Fenerbahce have denied a rift between the Nigeria international and the team manager, respected Turkish football website, Turkish-football.com reports on Thursday.

English Premier League giants, Arsenal and Tottenham have been keeping tabs on Emenike according to Skorer and could enter the transfer market in pursuit of an additional striker.

Emenike has always stressed that he wants to stay in Turkey but would consider a move if a Premier League club came calling.

“But to be linked with the Premier League is a dream come true,” Emenike said.

“I would love to play there in my career. There are many great clubs there.”

Fenerbahce signed Emenike from Karabukspor for €9 million in 2011, but the striker was sold to Spartak for €10 million without playing a single game for the Yellow Canaries.

Emenike rejoined Fenerbahce last summer from Spartak for €13 million, and has scored 12 goals, as well as providing 9 assists in 28 appearances this season.

The Nigerian striker who shone for the Super Eagles at the 2014 World Cup in Brazil has three-years left on his contract and the Turkish Super Lig champions value the 27-year-old striker at €20 million.

Emenike, part of the Eagles squad expected to depart Nigeria Thursday night for Sudan to honour their Saturday’s 2015 AFCON qualifier against the Falcons of Jediane in Khartourm was also linked with Chelsea before joining the Yellow Canaries last August.

Emenike should to England to have a good name and improve on goal scoring.
