Aston Villa Keen To Sign Success On Loan From Watford

English Championship club, Aston Villa, are on the verge of completing the loan signing of Nigerian forward Isaac Success from Watford, reports Completesportsnigeria.com.

Success, 22, according to a report in teamtalk.com, has been told he can leave Watford and Aston Villa manager, Steve Bruce is keen to secure his services.

The initial deal will see Success, who once represented Nigeria at the U-17 level spent the rest of the season with Villa, with a view to a permanent deal.

The forward spent part of last season on loan at Spanish club Malaga where he struggled to make an good impression.

He has been plagued by injuries for most of his time with Watford despite his huge potential.

Success linked up with Watford from Spanish La Liga outfit, Granada in 2016.

  • It will not be such a bad move if it guarantees him regular playing time.

    Better to play regularly in the Championship than rot on the bench in the Premiership.

    Having said that, it should be a major source of worry if one of our brightest prospects cannot force his way into the main squad of an average premier league team like Watford.
