–Ex-international says football must improve
Former Nigerian International, Tijani Babangida says the Nigeria Football Federation should as soon as possible engage Stephen Keshi and it must be done by the books.
According to the former Ajax Amsterdam winger, the NFF should follow the rules of employment in order to tie the former Mali gaffer to a new deal.
Babangida expressed his grouse in a no holds barred chat with www.footballlive.ng. The football Administrator was particularly critical of the method employed by the Nigeria Football Federation to secure Keshi’s signature for another spell as the Eagle’s gaffer.
”You can’t just tell him to accept any deal without spelling in clear terms the rules of engagement; what you want from him and so on. He had a contract
before, he knows the game and they know all the necessary steps it requires.” Babangida retorted.
