The Nigerian who is expected to be included in coach Stephen Keshi's 15 man professional squad for next month's 2017 AFCON fixtures against Chad and Tanzania also provided two assists for Eric Cosmin Bicfalvi opener in the 23rd minute and Aleksandr Kobakhidze's in the 74th minute. It was Babatunde's 12th start this season.
According to football.ua he was adjudged the man-of-the-match award in the encounter.
The win sees Volyn move up to sixth on the Ukrainian log with 33 points from 25 games.
Volyn host Metalurh Donetsk in their finla league game next Friday and that could be Babatunde's last game if decided to leave the club in the summer.
His compatriot Sherif Isa played for 68th minutes before he was replaced by Aleksandr Sytnyk.
