SC Qatar attacking midfielder Michael Babatunde says there is still more to play for after his side clinched a promotion play-off spot in the Qatari second-tier with a game left to play reports Completesportsnigeria.com.
Babatunde, who was in the Super Eagles squad to the Brazil 2014 World Cup, has been instrumental in SC Qatar's unbeaten run in the division this season with the club recording 13 wins and three draws.
The Nigerian international who joined the club from Raja Casablanca last summer for $1.1 million has scored 14 goals and provided eight assists.
Their final league game is against Al Mu'aidar II next Tuesday.
"We missed the automatic promotion due to some games which we drew," The 23-year-old told Completesportsnigeria.com.
"But the most important thing for me now is to win the play-off game against Al Mu'aidar.
"It's going to be tough but we must believe."
Babatunde however did not rule out the possibility of returning to Europe in the summer.
"Why not if they can meet my terms and that of the club why not?" he said.
Babatunde currently earns $70,000 a month at SC Qatar
