Super Eagles defender, Leon Balogun, says a tough clash awaits Brighton when they travel to Anfield to face Liverpool on Saturday in an English Premier League game, reports Completesportsnigeria.com.
Balogun posted a brilliant performance for the Seagulls last Sunday when he came on for Lewis Dunk in the 20th minute on his debut for Brighton who defeated Manchester United 3-2.
The 30 year old defender was also shocked at the slow pace of the Manchester United team in the encounter but expects a high tempo game at Anfield.
“Some of the lads have just asked me that too and I said I had expected the Premier League to be quicker, but they told me this is always the kind of game you play against United,” the former Mainz defender was quoted by The Telegraph.
“They like to slow it down a little bit sometimes. Liverpool is going to be completely different. I know how [Jürgen] Klopp likes to play. It’s going to be a lot quicker and a lot more intense.”
Liverpool recorded their second win of the season on Monday, a 2-0 win at Crystal Palace.
