Bayern Munich have called a press conference for Friday morning with reports suggesting Arsene Wenger will be named their new manager. Niko Kovac only took charge of the Bavarians in the summer and has been in charge for just 11 games, but reports are rife he could be heading for an early exit.
Bayern have suffered back-to-back defeats in the Bundesliga and sit in sixth place, four points behind leaders Borussia Dortmund.
That could easily be made up, but there has been talk of unrest behind the scenes, with leading Bayern players unhappy with some of Kovac’s training methods since he took charge.
That may have prompted Bayern officials, who had previously said Kovac’s job was safe, to now take action.
The fact that the press conference was unscheduled and will involve club president Uli Hoeness, chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge and sporting director Hasan Salihamidzic, has set tongues wagging.
Reports are rife that the departure of Kovac and the subsequent appointment of Wenger, who has been out of work since leaving Arsenal in the summer, will be announced.Fastest Paying Betting Site in Nigeria: Grab your 140% First Time Deposit Bonus Now — www.Sportybet.Com Copyright © 2021 Completesports.com All rights reserved.
