Shooting Stars General Manager Rasheed Balogun, Plateau United manager Kennedy Boboye and goalkeeper Dele Ajiboye have all written to the League Management Company to apologise for their recent misconduct that led to their being sanctioned by the Nigerian Professional Football League body, reports Completesportsnigeria.com.
Balogun was involved in a touchline confrontation with Boboye in a matchday 12 encounter involving 3SC and Plateau United at the Lekan Salami Stadium, Adamasigba a fortnight ago.
Balogun was fined N200,000 for his role in the altercation with Boboye, who was fined N100,000.
According to a tweet on the official handle of the LMC, Boboye wrote to accept the sanction and fine of N100,000 and three-match touchline ban.
Boboye wrote: "I, Kennedy Boboye hereby tender my unreserved apology… with a promise that I will conduct myself in a gentleman manner in our subsequent matches."
Former Golden Eaglets keeper Ajiboye also wrote: "I wish to tender my apology to the LMC with a promise that such will not happen again. My action is highly regrettable and l promise to be of good conduct in our remaining NPFL fixtures of the season."
