Elkanemi Warriors of Maiduguri chief coach Ladan Bosso says his aim is to finish the current NPFL season on high by going for broke in their remaing three matches.
Irked by his side’ 3-2 loss to Lobi Stars on matchday-35 last Sunday, Bosso boasted that he would dig into his technical books of tricks to come up with tactics aimed at helping the club churn out good results in their remaining three matches.
Anthony Okpotu, scored thrice for Lobi to edge El-Kanemi Warriors 3-2 in a Matchday 35 encounter at the Aper Aku Stadium Makurdi on Sunday.
The loss left El-Kanemi stagnant, in sixth position with 52 points, in the NPFL table after matchday-35.
For Bosso, it’s not an impossible task for his side to work harder and earn a good chunk out of the possible nine points from their remaining three matches. They’re presently only two points adrift third placed Akwa United and fourth placed Enyimba international, and one point behind fifth team, FC Ifeanyiubah.
The Warriors will host 3SC on August 27, hunt for away points at Kano Pillars on September 3, then welcome MFM FC in Maiduguri on the final day of the season.
“We just a need to correct some little lapses before our remaining games. These few things cannot be made public for some personal reasons, but you will see them working better in the next games,” Bosso told Completesportsnigeria.com
“We want to finish the season on a good note.”
