Brazil 2014 World Cup Ref For Nigeria, Sudan Game

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) have named Néant Alioum, a Cameroonian football referee to be in charge of Wednesday’s reverse fixture of the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier between Nigeria and Sudan at the Abuja National stadium.He refereed at 2014 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.

Nigerians will also remember him as the centre referee during the World Cup playoff match between Ethiopia and Nigeria on October 13 at the National Stadium in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.

He will be assisted by his two country men, Evarist MENKOUANDE who was one of the assistant referees at the 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa and Elvis Guy Noupue Nguegoue.

Nguegoue is the second assistant referee.He was one of the two assistant referees picked from Africa to officiate at the football event of the 2014 Summer Youth Olympics in Nanjing, China last August.
