Brazil Coach,Tite: We Lost Great Match To More Effective Attacking Team

Brazil coach, Tite, has admitted that Belgium were more clinical in the Friday’s 2-1 quarter-final win over his side in Kazan.

An owngoal from Fernandinho and a sublime finish from Kevin De Bruyne sealed a berth in the semi-finals for the Red Devils while a second half goal by substitute Renato Augusto was a only a consolation for the South Americans.

Tite also admitted that Belgium goalkeeper, Thibaut Courtois, made the difference in the game with his outstanding saves.

The defeat was Brazil’s second loss under Tite in 25 games.

“I thought it was a great match and we had a lot of it, with plenty of possession and a lot of opportunities,” Tite said in his post match conference.

“But Belgium were more effective in converting their opportunities. They have a lot of top players and finished well. [Belgium goalkeeper Thibaut] Courtois also made a real difference.”

“It was a very impressive game between two teams with fantastic technical qualities. For all the pain I feel right now, if you like football, you have to watch this game. It’s going to give you pleasure.

“If you’re a neutral, you can sit back and say ‘What a match!’ Anyone who appreciates football can see that this was a beautiful game.”

On his future as Brazil coach, Tite said: “I won’t talk about my future right now – it’s not appropriate as I’m still thinking about the match. Time will tell. After two weeks, the dust will settle and we’ll have a cool head to be able to discuss it better.”

There are always two sides to every issue . On one hand, there is Nigeria with a Coach who believes that his Team is inferior to most Teams in the FIFA World Cup. On the other hand, you have Brazilians and their Coach who believes fervently that it is human right to win the World Cup each and every time they play and that any thing less is a National calamity.
Nigerians, as a people, needs a well prepared orientation that directs them to self-belief that there are always eleven players against eleven players on the field and that as a Nigerian and of African descent, you can do anything you want to do to bring pride and joy to your people. Only Nigerian born Manager can take Nigeria to the height we so crave for. Look at Steven Kechi’s records and see how it stands out. Rohr can never achieve more than what he doesn’t have,
Lets have self-belief. Lets get a Nigerian born Manager, give him all what was given to this foreign Coach today. He may do more than what Kechi did and possibly beat his record pushing Nigeria forward.

No NFF will ever give a local coach salary up front this is our major problem. Even the oyinbo coach regardless of salary upfront still has a fishy deal with Ighalo

  • Didn’t he admitted that the Belgian were superior. By the way would u say that the coach collected money from Gabriel Jesus as to why he is fielding him ahead of Firminho despite d latter brilliance. both of you are full of sentiment and always reason with your anus

Guy fly go and watch the match and see who was dominant. Had Brazil scored a second goal then you’ll understand my grammar people like you don’t know anything about football. No wonder Ighalo was hailed the day he scored 4goals in the Chinese league by your kind.

Just like it is polite to say PLEASE and THANK YOU in the world of those you have a little understanding of etiquette, so also, is it the norm to accept and praise the opposition in defeat. It is not a sign of inferiority complex or weakness.

What a shame that some simpletons on this platform are yet to grasp or understand such basic things about the modern game.
