By Adeboye Amosu: MFM FC midfielder Chukwuma Onuwa says the team will go all out for a win in Sunday’s CAF Champions League fixture against Malian club AS Real de Bamako, reports Completesportsnigeria.com.
The Olukoya Boys will face Real Bamako in their first ever game in the competition at the Complex Sportif Heremakono Stadium in Bamako.
Real Bamako finished second in the Mali Premier League last season.
Fidelis Ilechukwu’s men, who were also second last season, have struggled for form in the Nigeria Professional Football League this season
They sit in the 13th position with three wins and four defeats from seven games.
“It’s our first game in the competition and we intend to start on a positive note,” Onuwa told CSN.
“Nobody gave us a chance in the league last season but we finished second and pushed Plateau United till end.
“We will show the same spirit in the Champions League and hopefully things will go well for us again.”
