Warri Wolves are battle ready for today’s CAF Confederations Cup first leg second round clash against Congo DR outfit FC MK Etanchéité.
The Seasiders who are the only Nigerian side left on the continent will host the Central African side at the Warri Township Stadium.
Wolves overcame Ethiopian giants, Dedebit FC to reach this stage of the competition while FCMK edged Ahly Shandy of Sudan to make the second round clash.
Vice Captain of the side, Uche Ossai said the team is in good shape and hoping to make the country proud.
” We are ready, already in camp preparing for the game. We are pretty much in good shape to face the DR Congo team and we’re hoping to make Nigeria proud.”
The Congolese outfit who are the 2014 Coupe du Congo winners have in their fold top-players like Captain Kabangu, Losiyo Bofumbo, Mombo Lusala and Kabangu Ndima among others.
The decisive clash will be held in a fortnight at the 80,000-seat Stade des Martyrs, Kinshasa, DR Congo.
