Two-time African champions, Enyimba, will leave Lagos for Bamako on Friday for their crucial CAF Confederation Cup Group C fixture against Mali’s Djoliba billed for the Modibo Keita Stadium on Sunday, reports Completesportsnigeria.com.
Players and officials of the People’s Elephant will arrive Lagos from their base in Aba on Thursday
They will however depart the Murtala International Airport, Lagos on Friday morning for the trip to Bamako.
“We will travel to Bamako for the game against Djoliba on Friday morning,” a source at the club informed CSN.
“We will be leaving Aba for Lagos on Thursday where we will spend the night before travelling to Bamako on Monday Morning.”
Enyimba sit in third position in Group C with six points and need to get at least a point from the game against Djoliba to boost their chances of making it to the quarter-finals.
Williamsville Athletic Club of Cote d’l voire top the group with seven points, while Congo’s CARA Brazzaville occupy second position with six points but have a superior goal difference to Enyimba.
Djoliba sit in last position in the group with four points.
