Kelechi Iheanacho is in line to make his second Carabao Cup appearance for Leicester City against his former club, Manchester City at the King Power Stadium on today (Tuesday), Completesportsnigeria.com reports.
Iheanacho who joined Leicester City during the summer transfer window for £25m has missed the Foxes’ last six English Premier League games.
The 21 year old last featured for Leicester City a month ago in their 2-0 loss to Manchester City at the Ethiad stadium.
He was also on target for Leicester City in the 2-1 win over Leeds United in the fourth round of the competition.
His compatriot, Wilfred Ndidi, will miss the game due to suspension while it remains to be seen if Ahmed Musa whose only appearance for Leicester City came in the Carabao Cup, will make the matchday squad for the game.
At the Emirates stadium, Alex Iwobi could make his third appearance in the competition this season for Arsenal who will host West Ham.
If Iwobi features, it will be his sixth game since he made his debut for Arsenal in the competition during the 2015/16 season.
Iwobi has not scored a Carabao Cup goal.
