Chelsea midfielder Nathaniel Chalobah is pleased to have provided a sublime back-heel assist for Victor Moses in Saturday's 3-0 win over Leicester City at Stamford Bridge, reports Completesportsnigeria.com.
Goals from Diego Costa and Eden Hazard gave Antonio Conte a 2-0 lead before half time but it was Moses exchanging passes with Chalobah and calmly beating Kasper Schmeichel with a cool finish that thrilled Chalobah.
The 21-year-old who had spent the last six season out on loan, made his third appearance for the Blues in the encounter.
"I didn’t think it would come off as perfect as that, but that was the idea. I’m really happy for Victor to get the goal and for the team to get the win," the England U-21 star told Chelsea's website.
"It’s been good working with him, seeing the way he does things."
The goal was Moses' third so far this season.
Moses also revealed he always believed he would get a chance at Chelsea and that he is focused on working hard to get more opportunities in the first team.
He was replaced by Ola Aina for the final 10 minutes of the win.
Also Clive Walker, a radio and TV commentator for Chelsea also said: "Victor Moses is changing his own ethos, which is generally to attack.
"Leicester didn’t cause us too many problems, but there were a few points in the game where he was doing the ugly work and focusing on his defensive duties. He also maintained his attacking threat and popped up with a quality goal late on."
