Head Coach of Benin Republic home-based national football team, Oumar Tchomogo, says that he is not satisfied with his team's slim 1-0 win against the home-based Super Eagles in the first leg of their 2018 CHAN play-offs in Cotonou on Sunday.
Benin Republic took 1-0 advantage going into second leg courtesy of an 89th minute penalty kick converted by skipper Seibou Mama following a foul committed by Afeez Aremu in Sunday's first leg.
Reflecting after the game, Tchomogo rue the marginal win, stating that his team should have done more.
"We will take the time to recover first, then view the video of the match and get back to work," Tchomogo told Benin Football Federation official website.
"It was difficult for 90 minutes. It was not satisfactory despite the result. We had nothing to lose, we had everything to gain, " Tchamogo said.
The return leg comes up on Saturday, August 19th at the Sani Abacha Stadium Kano.
The home-based Super Eagles must win with two goals differencel to qualify for the 2018 CHAN in Kenya.
