Nigeria midfielder, Wilfred Ndidi, is attracting interest from English Premier League heavyweights, Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur.
According to Belgian daily, Het Laatste Nieuws, Ndidi’s impressive displays for Genk have seen both Chelsea and Spurs send scouts to monitor his performance in Belgium.
However, it has been suggested that at present neither of the clubs are targeting Ndidi, hinting he is very much one for the future.
Ndidi, whose current contract with Genk runs until the summer of 2020, has made nine appearances this season.
The 19-year-old made his first team debut for Genk in the 2014/2015 campaign.
He was listed in coach Samson Siasia’s 35-man provisional squad for the just concluded Rio 2016 Olympic Games but didn’t make the final cut.
