EXCLUSIVE By Adeboye Amosu: Abia Warriors forward, Chisom Chikatara, says he is relaxed over his future despite several reports linking him with a move away from the club, reports Completesportsnigeria.com.
The Nigeria striker who made the headlines after scoring four goals for the home-based Super Eagles side at the African Nations Championship in Rwanda early in the year has been linked with a move to a number of European sides in recent weeks.
He signed a deal with top Moroccan side, Wydad Casablanca, after his participation at the CHAN, but his club Abia Warriors cancelled the agreement after Wydad failed fulfil the contractual obligations.
"I have read a lot of stories on different platforms linking me with clubs in Europe, but the truth is that I have not signed for any club," Chikatara disclosed to Completesportsnigeria.com.
"A lot of clubs in Europe and the Far East have signified their intention in signing me and we are studying all the offers at the moment.
"What I can say for now is that in a couple of weeks I should be off to Europe to begin the next phase of my career."
