Former Super Eagles coach Philippe Troussier has had his contract with Chinese Super League side Hangzhou Greentown terminated due to poor results.
The club's website late Wednesday night confirmed the exit of the 'White Witch Doctor' who qualified Nigeria for the 1998 World Cup in France, but denied the chance to lead the Super Eagles to the tournament. He was then replaced by Bora Milutinovic.
"After friendly negotiations, the club and Philippe Troussie have ended his working contract," a statement from the club said.
Hangzhou have flirted relegation for most of the season, winning only four of their last 16 games, a run of games which places them on the 13th position on the log.
Troussier was appointed coach of the Chinese club late 2014.
