–Ex Nigeria captain says former NFF Secretary has set a moral record
By Sab Osuji:
Christian Chukwu has described former NFF General Secretary Musa Amadu as a hero, adding that he has set a high moral standard for Nigerians in public offices.
“The news of Musa Amadu’s resignation came to me as a surprise. I don’t know why he took that decision and even as we speak, there has not been any official explanation as to what happened.
“But irrespective of what went wrong, the man knows or has his reasons. If he decided to quit at this time, I can say that’s most honorable of him and I can only say he’s a hero.
“Yes, Amadu is a hero in the sense that no Nigerian in such exalted office has toed such line so I repeat, Musa has played the role of a noble hero”, Chukwu emphasized.
The Enugu Rangers Technical Consultant who once handled Kenya National Team stated that Musa’s exit will not in any way affect the country negatively in FIFA and that his replacement Dr Mohammed Sanusi must have been found good enough before he was appointed.
“Amadu no doubt has set a moral standard for others. But then, I think if Dr Mohammed Sanusi is not good enough, those who appointed him would not have done so.
