Barcelona, without the ill Lionel Messi, have qualified for the final of the 2015 FIFA Club World Cup after defeating Guangzhou Evergrande 3-0 in Thursday’s semi-final.
A hat-trick by Luiz Suarez secured the emphatic win for last season’s treble winners.
Suarez opened the scoring in the 39th minute. He doubled Barcelona’s lead five minutes into the second half.
He then completed his hat-trick in the 67th minute from the penalty spot.
Barcelona will now meet South American champions River Plate in Sunday’s final.
Barcelona defeated Argentine side Estudiantes 2-1 in the 2009 Club World Cup final to claim their first title.
In 2011 final, they thrashed Santos of Brazil, who paraded Neymar, 4-0.
