Chelsea boss Antonio Conte has expressed his disappointment following his team's Premier League 1-1 draw against Burnley at Turf Moor on Sunday, Completesportsnigeria.com reports.
Chelsea looked to extend their lead in the league table as Pedro Rodriguez finished off a Victor Moses assist to put his side 1-0 up in the 7th minute.
But Robbie Brady equalised for Burnley in the 24th minute with a brilliant free-kick to help his side take something from the game.
Commenting after the draw, Conte said that Chelsea did well enough trying to secure a win.
"It was a tough game today but we knew it would be," Conte said in his post-match press conference.
"Despite that, we must be disappointed with the point as my team started the game well.
"We put a lot of energy into the game which is one of the reasons to be disappointed with only one point.
"We tried to play football and create chances, and the mentality was good.
"Burnley made it difficult with long balls but I have total respect for a team playing that way."
"We must continue to show the same commitment to try to win as we showed in today's game."
And despite Chelsea's healthy lead on the log, Conte stated that it is not over yet.
"There are 13 games to the end and still six teams that can win the league. It is not over."
