Chelsea manager Antonio Conte has given Victor Moses and the rest of the Blues squad three days off following the Premier League defeat by Watford on Monday, the Evening Standard has reported.
The Italian had originally penciled Tuesday to be their only break before resuming training on Wednesday.
But after his side’s 4-1 defeat to Watford on Monday, in which Moses played the full 90 minutes, Conte granted his squad another 48 hours leave with the Italian believing fatigue could be a major reason for the team’s drop in standards.
Moses has made 18 English Premier League appearances this season, scoring just once.
Chelsea, who have won three games in the 10 played so far in 2018, will host West Brom in their next game on Monday.
Chelsea are currently fourth in the English Premier League table with 50 points from 26 games.
