According to a report on FootyLatest.com, former Juventus manager Antonio Conte might replace Jose Mourinho at Chelsea if the Blues boss decides to leave Stamford Bridge at the end of the season.
Mourinho was quoted recently as saying that he could leave Stamford Bridge if his players do not want him to continue on the job.
Chelsea have earned only eight points from their opening eight games in the Premier League and the report further hinted that Conte, who won three successive Serie A titles with Juventus before moving onto the Italian national team, is learning to speak English and is keen to move to the Premier League.
Conte also recently visited Tottenham’s training ground.
Conte has told his agent to listen to offers from foreign teams including the French champions, Paris Saint Germain.
After the 2016 European championship in France, the former Juventus boss will return to club football and will inform the Italian FA of his decision in March 2016.
