Chelsea boss Antonio Conte says his side will remain focused on their English Premier League opener against Burnley at Stamford Bridge following their penalty shootout loss to Arsenal in the FA Community Shield at Wembley on Sunday.
Victor Moses shot the Blues into the lead 47 seconds after the interval, but a powerful header from Saed Kolasinac in the 81st minute saw the game go into penalty shootout which the reigning champions lost 4-1.
It was the third time the Italian lost to Arsenal and he was not pleased that in two of those defeats his side finished with 10 men.
"We are working, we are trying to do our best. We had a tough pre-season, between the six days until we start the league, it is important to be focused on the next game," he told BT Sports after the game.
"This is the second game, after the FA Cup, that we finish with 10 men."
Conte however refused to react to the sending off of Pedro and the penalty claim in the first half by Willian.
"I didn’t see the situation [with the sending off]. For me for this reason it is very difficult for me to say something about this decision. I heard there was clearly a penalty but I did not see."
