Dutch football legend Johan Cruyff 68 has died after a battle with cancer.
According to reports, Cruyff, who died in Barcelona o Thursday, was diagnosed with the disease in October 2015.
Regarded as one of the best footballers of all time Cruyff helped Ajax to three consecutive European Cups (Champions League) in 1971, 1972 and 1973.
He was part of the Dutch team that reached the World Cup final in 1974, but eventually lost 2-1 to host Germany.
After leaving Ajax in the summer of 1973, he signed for La Liga giants Barcelona and spent five seasons with the Calatans.
And as coach of Barcelona, he led them to their first ever Champions League title in 1992 after they pip Sampdoria 1-0 in the final.
He also got them to the final of the 1994 Champions League final where they lost 4-0 to AC Milan.
