Ifeanyi Ubah United young goalkeeper, Chidiebere Eze says he’s excited over his invitation to the senior National team, Super Eagles ahead the two international friendly games against Cranes of Uganda and Bafana Bafana of South Africa.
Nigeria takes on Uganda today in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State while the team travels to South Africa on Friday for the game against Bafana Bafana on Sunday.
“I’m excited, it feels good to be called up to the senior National team and I’m grateful to coach Amokachi”, Eze said.
“It’s my first season in the Premier League and to be spotted just after one league game is wonderful and I can say it came to me as a surprise.
“Of course, it’s a challenge, it means I’ll have to work real hard to maintain a spot in the team and above all, to have the opportunity to play and learn from the likes of Vincent Enyeama. It is an honour to me and I am sure that it will help my career”, Eze added.
